yesterday,i went to the gym ON MY OWN for the very first time. alanna n andrea warned me the treadmill was extremely complicated, i had to attach some thingy to monitor my heartrate n blah blah blah. so i prayed hard, let there be no one there. and of course, there had to be four other people in there. fine. so i try very coolly to march up to the treadmil and press the buttons, acting as if it i do it all the time. n then the machine starts,at like 0.3km per hour,which is probably mr princess' pace; i nearly trip over my own feet. n then i see this wire thingy attached to this small circular disc. n think, aha! that must be what alanna is talking about! so i pull it out of the machine,and everything stops. thankGod its moving so slowly i barely noticed. turns out i pulled the emergency stop button. so i finally configure the machine,5 minutes later im jogging. n figure,its so boring i wanna try the cycling machine. so i leaned forward, just a lttle too far, to check if the bike machines are free, and lose my footing, and nearly fall off the side of the machine. i grab the rails desperately,and the grumpy faced woman next to me, turns to stare at me,like im a lousy treadmill-er. well,at least im not the one briskwalking like an amah for the past 30 min, when there's a huge sign saying, "limited to 2omin per person"! and after running,i feel dizzy and the world spins when i stop the machines. turns out ur not supposed to look at ur feet for 20min straight when u run on treadmills. i hate gyms.
oh n on the brightside? my parents have given up on me. they think im gonna fail my A's. oh well.
